Job summary
Hitachi Energy USA Inc. in Mount Pleasant, PA, seeks an Area Sales Manager for Gas Insulated Switchgear High Voltage Breakers. You will drive North American sales, blending engineering knowledge with commercial insight to deliver impactful solutions and build customer partnerships.
You will lead technical discussions, prepare proposals, and collaborate with internal teams to shape market strategies while traveling to customer sites as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
- Significant experience in sales, marketing or business development in the electrical/power industry preferred.
- Ability to present to diverse audiences and explain technical concepts clearly.
- Willingness to travel 30% or more.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth across new and existing customers in North America.
- Deliver technical expertise on GIS high voltage breaker solutions.
- Lead customer presentations, webinars, and product seminars.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned to customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop winning sales strategies.
- Travel to customer sites to support projects and specifications.
