Hitachi Energy in North America seeks an Area Sales Manager for GIS high voltage breakers to drive growth across key accounts and new markets. You will combine engineering insight with commercial strategy to deliver technically sound solutions that meet customer needs.

You will present at customer meetings, webinars, and product seminars; develop technical and commercial proposals; collaborate with internal teams; and travel ~30%+ to support projects and specifications across the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales, marketing, or business development experience.
• Experience in the electrical or power systems industry preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge with ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel 30% or more.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth across new and existing customers
• Deliver technical expertise on GIS high voltage breaker solutions
• Lead customer presentations, webinars, and product seminars
