Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) seeks an early to mid-career Utility Electrical System Engineer to manage and enhance LANL's 115kV transmission and 13.8kV distribution infrastructure. The role covers system studies, design work, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure safety, reliability, and performance of critical facilities.

The position offers growth from Engineer 2 to Engineer 3, with responsibilities expanding to leadership, mentorship, and long-term asset management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; EIT desirable; 3+ years for Engineer 2 level
• 6+ years for Engineer 3 level; PE desirable

Responsabilités

• Perform power system studies for 115kV and 13.2kV equipment
• Design electrical solutions to improve reliability, safety and performance
• Lead and collaborate across teams on LANL projects and asset management
• Develop and refine Utility Health Report for investments
