Job summary

WSP is seeking an ESSP Electrical Engineer – Experienced Professional for our Fort Worth, TX office. The role supports an ESSP team across power delivery facilities, substations, and transmission systems.

Responsibilities include performing electrical studies, SCADA and protection work, developing protection schemes, and writing technical reports. Occasional travel to client sites may be required. Requires 3–5 years of experience and EIT certification.

Qualifications

• BSEE (or ABET-equivalent) degree from ABET-accredited university.
• 3–5 years of design or device configuration experience in related electrical disciplines.
• EIT certification or willingness to pursue PE licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical studies, SCADA, and system protection activities.
• Develop and coordinate protection schemes and relay settings.
• Produce technical reports and calculations with clear conclusions.
• Collaborate with project teams and travel to project sites as needed.
• Support risk identification and project planning activities.
