Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance is seeking a field service technician to perform electrical apparatus work onsite at customer facilities, including testing, preventive maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs of electrical equipment.

The role reports to the Region Operations Manager or Field Service Supervisor and requires willingness to relocate within 60 miles of the regional office, travel for overnight projects, and occasional after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology preferred.
• Experience in electrical substation testing and maintenance preferred.
• Aim to achieve NETA II certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical/mechanical tasks on equipment used in power transmission and distribution at customer facilities.
• Read manuals and schematics to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean substation components.
• Lead or assist in transformer, cable, and circuit breaker testing.
