Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance seeks an entry-level to mid-level field service technician to perform electrical testing, maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs at customer facilities. You will work onsite, read schematics, troubleshoot complex equipment, and support transformer, cable, and circuit-breaker testing.

The role requires the ability to travel 60 miles from the regional office, work overtime, and participate in safety training while maintaining organized reporting and tool

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s or Associate in Electrical/Electronic Technology preferred but not required.
• Experience with electrical substation testing and commissioning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mechanical and electrical tasks on equipment at customer facilities.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and diagrams to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean substation components.
• Participate in transformer, cable, and circuit breaker testing as listed, including various test methods.
• Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment.
• Attend safety meetings and training.
