Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance, LLC is seeking a skilled field service technician to perform testing, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical power equipment at customer facilities. You will troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues, read schematics, and complete detailed service reports to ensure safe, reliable power systems.

The role requires strong problem solving, the ability to work independently, and willingness to travel for overnight assignments and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in electrical testing, maintenance, commissioning, or substation work.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and testing procedures.
• NETA certification or ability to obtain NETA Level III/IV certification.
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel for overnight and multi-day assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs on electrical power equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues in substations and power systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Complete service reports and testing documentation for customers.
• Support emergency response work and customer outage situations as needed.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, vehicles, and work areas in good condition.
