Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance in Indianapolis provides high voltage specialty services, NETA testing, and life extension projects. The role involves electrical testing, maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs at customer facilities, with responsibilities across substations and related equipment.

You will read schematics, troubleshoot complex electrical systems, and participate in safety meetings. The position supports overtime, travel, and on-call duties, with relocation within 60 miles

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mechanical and electrical tasks on equipment used in power transmission, distribution, and generation at customer facilities.
• Read manuals, schematics, and diagrams to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean components in a substation.
• Assist in transformer, cable, and circuit breaker testing.
• Participate in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment.
• Attend safety meetings and training.
• Note: duties may expand beyond this list.
