Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance, LLC is seeking a hands-on electrical field technician to perform on-site testing, maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs at customer facilities. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, reading schematics, and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Role includes transformer, cable, and circuit breaker testing, installation, and repair work with occasional overtime, travel, and overnight projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s/Associates in Electrical/Electronic Technology preferred but not required.
• Experience in electrical substation testing, construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, assembly, and commissioning preferred but not required.
• Introductory position with opportunity to learn and grow in electrical power systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mechanical and electrical tasks on equipment used in power transmission, distribution, and generation at customer facilities.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and diagrams to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean components in substations.
• Assist in transformer, cable, and circuit breaker testing and related test procedures.
• Participate in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment.
• Attend safety meetings and training and adhere to safety standards.
