Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to lead installation, testing and maintenance of high voltage substation equipment (>69kV). Based in Las Vegas, NV, you will supervise crews, perform field tests, and coordinate resources while traveling extensively to customer sites.

You will document test results, develop recommendations, and ensure safety standards. A technical certificate plus 5+ years HV experience, and US work authorization are required; relocation to Las Vegas is

Qualifications

5+ years in HV substations (>69kV) at field assignments supervising erection/testing.
US work authorization required.
Bachelor's in electrical/mechanical engineering preferred.
Proven leadership coordinating crew on electrical projects.
Experience with Power Utilities and reading electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

Lead field service operations and supervise installation and commissioning of HV substations.
Troubleshoot and repair high voltage equipment and document tests.
Supervise electricians and contractors and manage field resources.
Perform preventive/corrective maintenance and prepare written reports.
Travel up to 80% and maintain detailed records/logs.
Support safety compliance and coordinate team efforts.
