Hitachi Energy USA Inc. invites applications for a Field Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of high-voltage equipment up to 800kV across the United States.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with High Voltage circuit breakers or substations.
Strong technical communication and documentation skills with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to travel 80% domestically and work in remote field conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of HV circuit breakers and related equipment up to 800kV.
Conduct field service operations requiring strong technical knowledge with some supervision.
Generate reports with daily activities, photos, and test data.
Communicate with customers and internal teams to align on scope and safety requirements.
Adhere to safety policies and regulatory standards.
