MasTec, Inc. is seeking a field technician to perform maintenance and construction around high voltage substations and transmission lines across the United States.

The role involves extensive travel, a safety‑first mindset, and the ability to work with customers and teammates to get the job done right. Responsibilities include working around wind turbines, reading basic drawings, using power tools, testing electrical components, and servicing underground transmission systems.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in electrical maintenance or related certificate.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with electrical systems up to 34.5 kV preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the US.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance and construction around high voltage substations and lines.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers daily.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components and systems.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete safety paperwork and follow LOTO procedures.
• Report testing results and maintain concise records.
