MasTec, Inc. seeks a field electrical technician to perform maintenance and construction around high voltage substations and wind operations. Extensive travel across the United States is required, with a strong emphasis on safety and doing the job right the first time.

You will work around wind turbines, interact with customers daily, diagnose issues, perform line locations, splices, and testing, and uphold MasTec’s zero-injury safety principles. A valid driver's license is required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in electrical maintenance or electrical degree/certificate required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain/construct around high voltage substations and transmission lines.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers daily.
• Perform maintenance on electrical collection systems and wind turbine wiring up to 34.5 kV.
• Attend safety meetings and complete safety paperwork daily.
• Diagnose and fix issues to prevent shutdowns and ensure proper operation.
• Troubleshoot and test electrical components and systems.
• Service underground transmission systems and substations.
