Job summary

MasTec, Inc. seeks a field technician to perform maintenance and construction around high-voltage substations and wind turbines, requiring extensive domestic travel across the United States. A safety-first attitude and ability to work with customers are essential.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in electrical maintenance (1 year with degree/certificate), a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel domestically. KM

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical degree or certificate preferred.
• 2+ years in electrical maintenance or related experience; 1 year with degree/certificate.

Responsibilities

• Work around wind turbines and electrical collection systems.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers daily.
• Perform maintenance/construction on electrical systems up to 34.5 kV.
• Attend safety meetings and complete safety paperwork daily.
• Troubleshoot and test electrical components and systems.
• Service underground transmission systems and substations.
