Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist to support high school students from the start of the academic year through November. The role emphasizes collaboration with school staff and families to improve communication skills during a critical period.

Requirements include a Masters in SLP, CT licensure or eligibility, and CCC-SLP or CFY consideration, with pediatric or school experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Connecticut SLP licensure or eligibility.
• CCC-SLP or CFY considered.
• Experience in pediatrics, school settings or healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and intervention planning.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Experience with high school populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to high school students per IEPs.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families for student support.
• Maintain thorough, compliant records and documentation.
• Attend IEP and staff meetings and participate in professional development as needed.
• Support academic and social success through evidence-based interventions.
