Job summary

GPS Solutions is seeking a dedicated MTSS Tutor/Paraprofessional to join our team at Loyola High School in Detroit, MI. In this full-time hourly role, you will work with students, teachers and administrators to support academic and behavioral goals and provide targeted instruction and intervention.

You will assist in MTSS implementation, collaborate on individualized plans, monitor progress, and participate in ongoing professional development to strengthen instructional practices.

Qualifications

• Education options: 60 college credits, SAT scores 480 EBRW and 530 Math, or Parapro score 460
• Bachelor’s in Education or equivalent preferred
• Michigan teaching certificate and endorsements preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Assist in MTSS strategy implementation to support learning needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver individualized learning plans.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators and administrators.
• Support classroom management and help maintain a positive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
