Job summary

GPS Solutions is seeking a dedicated MTSS Tutor/Paraprofessional to join our Detroit team. In this full-time hourly role, you will work with students to support math and reading through MTSS strategies, collaborate with teachers, and help implement individualized learning plans.

Responsibilities include small group and one-on-one instruction, monitoring progress, providing feedback, maintaining a positive learning environment, and participating in professional development.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited university or college.
• SAT: evidence-based reading and writing 480 and Math 530.
• ETS Parapro Assessment – a passing score 460.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Assist in the implementation of MTSS strategies to support students' learning needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver individualized learning plans.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators and administrators.
• Support classroom management and assist in maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
