Job summary

GPS Solutions is seeking a High School MTSS Tutor to join the team at Loyola High School in Detroit, MI. This full-time hourly position focuses on targeted instruction and MTSS strategies to help students reach their full potential.

You will provide small group and one-on-one tutoring, collaborate with teachers to develop individualized plans, monitor progress, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 60 credit hours from an accredited university or college.
• SAT – Evidence-based Reading & Writing 480+, Math 530+.
• ETS Parapro Assessment – passing score 460.
• Bachelor's of Science or Arts in Education preferred.
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate and endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students in small group and one-on-one settings.

GPS Solutions is seeking a dedicated and passionate MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) Tutor/Paraprofessional to join our team. In this full-time role, you will work closely with students, teachers, and administrators to support the academic and behavioral needs of our students. Your efforts will be crucial in helping students achieve their full potential through targeted instruction and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

Preferred:

• Bachelor's of Science or Arts in Education
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate and applicable endorsement(s) as required by the Michigan Department of Education
