Job summary

GPS Solutions in Detroit, MI is hiring a K-8 MTSS Tutor/Paraprofessional in a full-time hourly role. You will work with students, teachers, and administrators to support academic and behavioral needs through targeted instruction and intervention.

The ideal candidate will have at least 60 college credits or SAT/Parapro scores, and may hold a Michigan teaching certificate with endorsements as required by the Michigan Department of Education.

Qualifications

• 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university as an option.
• SAT – evidence-based reading and writing at least 480 and 530 in math.
• ETS Parapro Assessment – passing score 460 required.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Assist in implementing MTSS strategies to support learning needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver individualized learning plans.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators and administrators.
• Support classroom management and help maintain a positive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
