Job summary

GPS Solutions is seeking a dedicated MTSS Tutor/Paraprofessional to support K-8 students in a full-time hourly role at Holy Redeemer in Detroit, MI. You will provide small-group and one-on-one academic support, assist in MTSS implementation, collaborate with teachers, monitor student progress, and help maintain a positive learning environment.

Education requirements include 60 college credits or SAT/Parapro options; preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's in Education and Michigan teaching

Qualifications

• A minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited university or college.
• SAT – evidence-based reading and writing 480 or higher, and 530 or higher in math.
• ETS Parapro Assessment – passing score 460 required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's of Science or Arts in Education and Michigan teaching certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students in small groups and one-on-one settings.
• Assist in the implementation of MTSS strategies to support learning needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver individualized learning plans.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators and administrators.
• Support classroom management and contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
