Job summary

Qualifications

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport (Major sports).
• The head coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and keep exploring new theories and procedures.
• Must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through instructions and actions.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training for team success.
• Upgrade knowledge through coaching clinics, observations, and consultation.
• Advise, coordinate and support a staff of high school and middle school coaches with athletic director and principals.
• Maintain discipline and ensure proper governance of the program.
• Promote character development and sportsmanship among student athletes.
