Job summary

Youth Alliance seeks a Program Leader to provide direct leadership in a culturally responsive after-school enrichment program. You will guide 20 students with on-site support from a Site Coordinator and collaborate on language arts, math, STEAM, and community-building activities.

The role emphasizes positive reinforcement, staff collaboration, and maintaining records, with a focus on safe, engaging, and inclusive environments for youth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Instructional Aide Test may be required.
• Preferred: 48 college credits or an Associate’s degree.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desired.
• Passion for helping school-aged children to achieve academic and personal success.

Responsibilities

• Lead a class of 20 students with on-site support.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for groups of children.
• Maintain attendance reports and program evaluations.
• Communicate concerns to Site Coordinator in a timely manner.
• Coordinate assistance of volunteers to deliver curriculum.
• Assist with events such as field trips and special activities.
