Jobot is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee field operations for multiple high-rise construction projects. This permanent role requires coordinating subcontractors, managing complex schedules, and partnering with project teams from groundbreaking through turnover.

The ideal candidate has a long track record in construction leadership, strong safety, budgeting, and estimating skills, and the ability to read blueprints and manage risk.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of supervisory experience in construction.
• Proven safety management, contract management, budgeting, estimating, and risk management.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret plans.
• Degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
• Relevant certifications in safety or contracts are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the construction process from conception to completion, directing workers and subcontractors to follow the plan and schedule.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and create a safe working environment with regular inspections.
• Manage contracts, ensure terms are met, and resolve issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans and specs to align activities.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and implement cost controls.
• Conduct quality control inspections to meet standards.
• Estimate construction costs and prepare detailed project estimates.
• Identify, evaluate and manage project risks with mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and authorities to maintain open communication.
