The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in supervision, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach to delivering projects safely and to high standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a supervisory construction role.
• Experience in safety and contract management, blueprint reading, estimating and budgeting.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
• Relevant certifications in safety or contracts are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction from conception to completion and coordinate subs.
• Enforce safety regulations and lead safety meetings.
• Manage contracts, terms, and issue resolution.
• Read blueprints and ensure work aligns with plans and specs.
• Prepare and manage project budgets with cost controls.
• Perform quality control inspections to meet standards.
• Estimate construction costs and prepare detailed estimates.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and authorities.
