Job summary

The Camas School District seeks a Paraprofessional for High Needs. The 8:10 am – 3:25 pm schedule spans a 190‑day year (August 24, 2026 – June 17, 2027) with pay prorated by FTE and days worked.

In coordination with teachers and special services staff, this role provides 1:1 or small‑group support in self-contained or other programs to help students access regular and special education. The position emphasizes IEP implementation and data collection.

Qualifications

• Supports implementation of IEPs and data collection.
• Requires basic computer skills and ability to use MS Office.
• Experience working with special needs students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement adaptive procedures and curriculum materials as instructed.
• Prepare and utilize materials for students.
• Implement IEPs as designated.
• Provide for physical needs of students as required.
• Maintain records and progress notes.
• Provide first aid and assist with behavioral plans.
