Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to provide 1:1 support for a female middle school student with significant disabilities in a supportive classroom setting in the Oakdale area. Compassion, patience, and adaptability are essential as you help with day-to-day learning and personal care.

The position is full-time during the school year (32.5 hours/week). Compensation ranges from $20.86 to $34.86 per hour, with benefits such as healthcare, housing, and meals/incidentals.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional or disability support experience is valued.
• Minimum two years of post-secondary education or Paraprofessional Certification.
• Ability to assist with toileting, lifting, and feeding; female candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 student support for academic and daily living needs.
• Engage in proactive behavior management strategies in a supported classroom.
• Assist with personal care, including toileting and feeding as required.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement learning and care plans.
• Safeguard the dignity and respect of the student at all times.
