Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5+ years of management experience in a big box retail environment.
• Strong leadership with ability to recruit, develop and retain top performers.
• Finance and retail management skills with KPI focus.
• Experience working with POS, Kronos, Outlook, Excel and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed budgeted sales and key KPIs daily.
• Keep weekly payroll at or under budget by staffing appropriately.
• Direct daily operations across all functions: ops, merch, loss prevention.
• Conduct store audits to ensure policy and procedure adherence.
• Recruit, hire and train an A-team; maintain staffing guidelines.
• Coach, counsel and discipline staff based on performance.
• Execute company initiatives: ads, markdowns, freight, recovery, weekends.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Communicate policies and updates to staff; maintain compliance.
• Deter theft through presence and customer-focused leadership.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance issues with DM direction.
