Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a General Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations, merchandising, and staff to deliver a world-class shopping experience. You will lead the leadership team, drive profitability, oversee inventory controls, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

You will recruit and develop talent, coach associates, and execute promotional programs while maintaining memorable guest service.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years in high-volume, big-box retail management.
Experience supervising multiple managers and store staff.
Strong customer service focus and leadership ability.
Ability to analyze sales data and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise store leadership team and coordinate staff.
Open and close the store.
Ensure service-oriented staff; oversee hiring, training, and performance reviews.
Meet or exceed financial plans; manage assets and cash.
Maintain merchandising directives and marketing strategies.
Provide a legendary customer experience.
Uphold safety and facility standards.
Resolve customer and associate issues.
