Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Retail Manager to supervise one or more Sales Departments, ensuring excellent customer service and accurate inventory control at the Augusta store. You will lead staff, optimize pricing, and drive sales initiatives while maintaining planograms and store operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of retail management experience, strong financial acumen, and proficiency with POS and inventory systems. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic financial calculations (discounts, percentages) and interpret reports.
• Ability to analyze customer needs and present product recommendations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for staff coaching and scheduling.
• Experience with retail management systems and data-based decision making.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Sales Departments and ensure excellent customer service.
• Meet or exceed financial plans and implement sales strategies.
• Open/close store and assume Manager on Duty responsibilities.
