Smashburger is seeking a hands-on Restaurant General Manager in Phoenix to lead daily operations, train and develop Restaurant Managers and staff, and ensure top-tier guest experiences. You will manage staffing, training, and compliance while driving sales and controlling labor costs.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of GM experience, strong communication, and time management with a commitment to Smashburger standards and safety.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Restaurant General Manager experience in restaurants.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow Smashburger policies, food safety and procedures.
• Must successfully complete Smashburger training program.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Restaurant Managers, Shift Leaders, and team members while fostering a positive, high-performance work environment.
• Oversee restaurant operations including staffing, scheduling, onboarding, training, and ensuring policy compliance and food safety.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences by modeling service standards and resolving concerns quickly.
• Manage financial performance by controlling labor, inventory, cost of goods, and operating expenses.
• Drive restaurant success through team communication, community engagement, and local marketing initiatives.
