Job summary

Schindler Group is seeking a Strategic Analyst in Mergers and Acquisitions to join the SEC M&A team in Morristown, NJ. You will evaluate potential acquisitions, mergers, and strategic investments, and contribute to due diligence and integration planning. This role offers high visibility to executives and global leaders.

The position requires 3-5 years in M&A, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while traveling 4–6 times per year.

Qualifications

• BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• 3-5 years of Merger & Acquisitions experience.
• Elevator experience preferred.
• Industrial space experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned aspects of the transaction process, including valuation, due diligence, and through to deal completion.
• Conduct valuation and financial analyses, including discounted cash flow, merger consequences and investment returns for potential transactions.
• Synthesize and summarize due diligence findings with focus on identifying key risks.
• Draft tailored reports outlining key transaction insights based on the diligence analyses.
• Create and deliver presentations to key stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of transactional and integration plans required to evaluate and complete transactions.
• Organize and coordinate cross functional deal teams.
• Build partnerships with business unit and regional representatives to develop and understand strategic priorities.
• Design and conduct strategic, market, competitive and financial analyses of business development opportunities, including potential acquisitions, divestitures, alliances and strategic investments.
• Maintain and expand acquisition pipeline and database of prospects.
