Job summary

Sterling Kohler is seeking a Sr. Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst to drive complex transactions across mergers, venture investments, and strategic deals. This remote US role collaborates with senior leaders, attorneys, and external advisors.

You will build valuation models, perform due diligence, coordinate deal execution, and present executive-ready analyses to the Board. A Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in investment banking, PE, or advisory are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or equivalent analytical field.
• Experience with buy-side or sell-side M&A and equity or debt financing transactions required.
• Experience with due diligence and transaction execution processes required.
• Strong financial modeling skills required.
• Financial valuation experience including DCF, LBO, comps, and precedent transactions.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions, venture investments, financing activities, and other strategic transactions.
• Perform comprehensive financial analyses and build/maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses.
• Lead or coordinate due diligence and support negotiation and development of transaction documentation.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations and reports explaining industry trends, valuation, and strategic alternatives.
