Job summary

Swickard Auto Group's Mercedes-Benz of Wilsonville flagship location seeks a hands-on Service Drive Manager to keep shop flow clear, support advisors, ensure repair orders are closed, and guests are taken care of. You will operate alongside the drive team to meet Mercedes-Benz standards in a high-volume luxury environment.

The role requires 2+ years in service leadership at a franchised dealership, familiarity with MBZ processes, and strong RO knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service advisor, service drive, or fixed ops leadership experience at a franchised dealership.
• Mercedes-Benz or luxury brand service experience is a strong plus.
• Strong working knowledge of repair order processes from write-up to closure.
• Operationally sharp and detail-oriented; proactive problem solving.
• Calm, professional under the pressure of a high-volume luxury service drive.
• Clear communicator who earns trust of advisors, technicians, and guests.
• Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support service advisors with day-to-day drive operations and navigate shop flow issues.
• Monitor active repair orders and ensure timely progression and approvals.
• Oversee repair order closure and ensure accurate documentation and payments.
• Handle guest escalations with a solution-first approach at the drive level.
• Coordinate with shop foreman to balance technician workload and inform guests of delays.
• Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and reconciled daily.
• Coach the service advisor team with process reminders and on-the-spot guidance.
• Serve as a communication bridge between shop, advisors, and guests.
