Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and prior sales experience; a professional appearance and self-motivation are essential. This is an in-person position with room for growth within a large auto group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Verifiable sales performance in any industry is a plus.
• Ability to close sales with negotiation skills.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional appearance and self-motivation in a retail environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Helps customers with vehicle selection and promotes options, add-ons, and financing.
• Conducts vehicle test drives and ensures road rules are followed.
• Negotiates sale closure in an ethical manner.
• Facilitates delivery with explanations of operations, warranty, and service needs.
• Maintains accurate sales documentation.
• Maintains knowledge of vehicles, accessories, financing, and promotions.
• Attends staff meetings and training; performs other duties as assigned.
