Job summary
Southern Auto Group in Virginia Beach is seeking an Automotive Sales Professional to help customers select vehicles, discuss options, and close sales in a professional manner. You will conduct test drives, explain features and financing, maintain paperwork, and stay up to date on our vehicle lineup and promotions.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with strong customer service and communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Verifiable sales performance or ability to close sales.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Outgoing personality and professional appearance.
Responsibilities
- Helps customers with vehicle selection and explains options, financing, and promotions.
- Conducts vehicle test drives and ensures road rules are followed.
- Negotiates sale closure in an ethical manner.
- Explains vehicle operations, warranties, and servicing requirements.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of vehicles, accessories, and promotions.
- Maintains accurate sales documentation.
- Attends staff meetings and training.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
