Responsibilities

• Source used boats through private sellers, trade-ins, referrals, online opportunities, and dealership relationships.
• Communicate with boat owners through phone, email, Facebook Marketplace, Messenger, and other digital channels.
• Inspect and evaluate boat condition, features, maintenance history, market demand, and resale potential.
• Research market values and establish acquisition and resale pricing.
• Negotiate boat purchases, trade values, and consignment agreements.
• Build and maintain a desirable and profitable used boat inventory.
• Manage the acquisition process from initial contact through purchase or consignment completion.
• Create and maintain accurate, appealing online boat listings.
• Build and grow your own book of business through proactive customer outreach, referrals, relationship-building, and self-marketing.
• Use Facebook, Facebook Marketplace, social media, and other digital platforms to identify opportunities, promote inventory, and connect with prospective buyers and sellers.
• Develop a consistent personal marketing presence that supports River Valley’s brand and generates new boat acquisition and sales opportunities.
• Assist customers throughout buying, selling, trading, and consignment process.
• Support used boat sales opportunities, dealership events, and customer follow-up.
• Maintain accurate titles, contracts, documentation, and transaction records.
• Coordinate with sales, service, parts, and leadership to prepare acquired boats for resale.
• Ensure used boats are professionally presented, accurately represented, and positioned to sell.
