Job summary

Subaru Santa Monica in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Service Advisor with 2+ years of dealer experience to guide guests from write-up through vehicle return. You will translate repair details into clear communications, provide accurate estimates, and coordinate with technicians to keep workflows on schedule.

This role offers an OTE of $50,000–$100,000+, comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO, and clear career path within Swickard’s Southern California network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service advisor experience at a dealership or automotive retailer.
• Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred; other DMS platforms acceptable.
• Subaru or Japanese brand service advisor experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests throughout the service process—from write-up to vehicle return.
• Translate technical repair information into clear, confident guest communication and set accurate expectations.
• Build precise estimates and commit to realistic timelines; follow through on every promise.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep repair workflows moving efficiently and on schedule.
• Identify and present additional service recommendations that protect guest safety and vehicle performance.
• Deliver a consistent, professional service experience that keeps Subaru owners returning to this store.
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS and uphold documentation and compliance standards.
