Job summary

Benchmark at Rye is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) for part-time day shifts (6a-2p) in a warm, home-like setting in Rye, New Hampshire. The role focuses on delivering high-quality resident care with attention to daily living tasks and emotional support.

The position requires a CNA/HHA/LNA license. Prior skilled nursing or assisted living experience is preferred but not required; experience with dementia patients is desired. Benefits are available upon employment.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes in resident health or behavior to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive compassionate and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Part Time Days 6a-2p

$20-$23/HR

As a Home Health Aide, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

HHA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
