HALO Precision Diagnostics in Torrance, CA is seeking a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing. The role includes education, care coordination, and specimen collection as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front office or back office).
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing process from start to finish.
• Provide clear, compassionate education on testing and next steps.
• Serve as the primary patient contact to ensure a supportive and informed experience.
• Conduct structured patient consultations to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Build strong relationships with partner site staff and clinical teams.
• Own patient cases, scheduling, follow-ups, and workflow coordination.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for genetic testing.
• Ensure proper patient identification, labeling, handling, and transport of specimens.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
• Support insurance verification and authorization processes as needed.
