HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Patient Navigator in Scottsdale, AZ to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing, provide education, coordinate visits, and collect specimens as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, a weekday schedule, and in-person work. Ideal candidates hold active phlebotomy credentials, clinical experience, and experience with insurance verification.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front or back office).
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with diagnostic or genetic specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the hereditary cancer genetic testing process from start to finish.
• Coordinate scheduling, specimen collection, and follow-up with partners.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for testing.
• Ensure proper patient identification, labeling, and transport of specimens.
• Maintain accurate EMR/EHR documentation and HIPAA compliance.
• Respond to patient questions with empathy and clarity.
