Job summary

HALO Diagnostics (HALO Dx) is seeking a Patient Navigator to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing, provide education, coordination, and phlebotomy support across partner sites for a seamless patient experience.

You’ll work with clinicians and operations to manage scheduling, specimen collection, and follow-up, while ensuring accurate EMR/EHR documentation, HIPAA compliance, and empathetic, high-touch care. This is a full-time, in-person role with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (front office or back office).
• Minimum 2 years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if travel is required).

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the hereditary cancer genetic testing process from start to finish.
• Coordinate scheduling, specimen collection, and follow-ups with partners.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR and comply with HIPAA.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens for genetic testing.
• Educate patients on testing, procedures, and next steps.
• Resolve scheduling and insurance barriers to improve completion.
