Job summary

Sobi is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to cover the Northern California region. You will engage healthcare professionals to exchange scientific information and advance the hematology/oncology and rare disease portfolio.

Travel is substantial (about 60%+), with responsibilities that include advisory boards, internal training, and collaboration with medical affairs and clinical development teams at local and national levels.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in life sciences (Pharm.D., D.Sc., D.N.P., Ph.D. or M.D./D.O.).
• Minimum 1 year of MSL experience in hematology/oncology and rare disease.
• Familiarity with the Northern California medical/scientific community and key institutions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to convey scientific information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field-based contact for Sobi Medical Affairs in the Northern California territory.
• Engage with healthcare professionals to exchange scientific information accurately and fairly.
• Report field intelligence including competitive insights and disease landscapes.
• Support clinical development through site visits and accrual support activities.
• Lead or participate in advisory board meetings at local, regional, and national levels.
• Deliver training on preclinical science and clinical data.
• Represent Sobi at medical conferences and provide session summaries.
