Job summary

Sobi is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to cover the Northern California hematology/oncology and rare disease portfolio. The role requires field-based engagement with healthcare professionals, advisory boards participation, and active collaboration with Clinical Development and Medical Affairs teams.

The MSL will travel frequently (60%+), maintain up-to-date knowledge of disease states, and build strong relationships with thought leaders to support evidence-based medical

Qualifications

• Doctorate in life-science or related field; advanced degree with industry experience considered.
• Minimum 1 year MSL experience in hematology/oncology and rare disease.
• Familiarity with Northern California medical/scientific community and institutions.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to articulate strategy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field-based contact for MSL in Northern California.
• Engage with healthcare professionals to exchange scientific information; balanced presentation.
• Report field intelligence and insights to Sobi; support clinical development and operations teams.
• Participate in advisory boards; deliver training on preclinical science, data, and outcomes.
• Represent Sobi at medical conferences and provide session summaries.
