Job summary

Sobi seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison to engage healthcare professionals in Northern California, exchanging scientific information and building strong scientific relationships. This field-based role requires deep hematology/oncology and rare disease knowledge and travel up to 60% of the time.

The MSL collaborates with medical affairs, clinical development, and field teams to support regulatory and scientific communications while advancing patient care and research partnerships.

Qualifications

• PhD/MD/DS/PharmD or equivalent life-science doctoral degree.
• Minimum 1 year MSL experience in hematology/oncology and rare disease.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field-based contact for MSL within Northern California.
• Engage healthcare professionals to exchange scientific information accurately and fairly.
• Report field intelligence including competitive insights and disease-state perspectives.
• Support clinical development teams with site recommendations and initiation visits.
• Lead or participate in advisory boards at local to national levels.
• Deliver internal/external training on preclinical science and clinical data.
