Job summary

Sobi is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to operate field-based, engaging with healthcare professionals to share clinical and scientific knowledge within the Northern California hematology portfolio. You will travel to support the territory and build strong scientific relationships.

The role requires an accredited life-science doctoral degree and at least 1 year of MSL experience in hematology/oncology and rare disease, with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Accredited doctorate in life-science or basic-science.
• Minimum 1 year MSL experience in hematology/oncology and rare disease.
• Familiarity with the Northern California medical/scientific community.
• Strong written and oral communication; stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
• Understanding of the regulated biopharma environment.
• Passion for science and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field-based contact for Sobi Medical Affairs in Northern California.
• Engage with HCPs to exchange scientific information accurately and fairly.
• Report field intelligence including competitive insights and disease-state updates.
• Support clinical development through site recommendations, visits, and accrual activities.
• Participate in advisory board meetings at local to national levels.
• Deliver internal and external training on preclinical and clinical data.
• Represent Sobi at medical conferences and provide session summaries.
• Maintain current knowledge of studies, compounds, and hematology/oncology topics.
• Collaborate as a cross-functional scientific resource across the organization.
