Job summary

Sobi, a global biopharmaceutical company, seeks a Medical Science Liaison to cover the Northern California hematology/oncology portfolio. The MSL will build scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and key thought leaders, delivering balanced scientific information within regulatory guidelines.

The role requires travel (about 60%+), field-based collaboration, and support for clinical development teams.

Qualifications

• Accredited doctorate in life-science or basic-science discipline.
• Minimum 1 year MSL experience in hematology/oncology and rare disease.
• Familiarity with the Northern California medical/scientific community.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field-based contact for Sobi Medical Affairs in Northern California.
• Engage with key thought leaders and HCPs to exchange balanced scientific information.
• Support clinical development and operations through site recommendations and visits.
• Lead or participate in advisory board meetings at various levels.
• Deliver training on preclinical science, clinical data, and outcomes; represent at conferences.
