Job summary

Sobi is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to cover the Northern California region within the hematology/oncology portfolio. The role emphasizes scientific exchange with healthcare professionals, site initiation support, and cross-functional collaboration.

Candidates should have a doctorate in a life-science field and at least 1 year of MSL experience in rare diseases, with strong communication skills and a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of MSL experience in hematology/oncology and rare disease.
• Ability to engage with healthcare professionals and communicate scientific information clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field-based point of contact for the Northern California territory.
• Engage with key thought leaders and healthcare professionals to exchange scientific information.
• Report field intelligence and competitive insights to Sobi.
• Support clinical development and operations through site recommendations and visits.
• Lead or participate in advisory board meetings at local, regional, and national levels.
• Deliver internal and external training on preclinical science and clinical data.
• Represent Sobi at medical conferences and provide summaries.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of studies, compounds, and disease states.
