Job summary

Sobi is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to act as a field-based scientific expert in hematology/oncology for the Northern California region. You will build relationships with healthcare professionals, exchange scientific information, and support clinical development while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

The role requires travel of 60% or more, engagement with thought leaders, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to advance rare disease therapies and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Accredited doctorate in life sciences or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of MSL experience in hematology/oncology and rare disease.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field-based contact for MSL within Northern California.
• Engage with HCPs to exchange scientific information accurately and fairly.
• Report field intelligence including competitive insights and treatment landscape.
• Support clinical development and operations through site initiation and accrual activities.
• Lead or participate in advisory board meetings at various levels.
• Deliver internal and external training on preclinical science, clinical data, and outcomes.
