Job summary

Chenega Corporation EH&F seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician to support DPALS at Brook Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The role covers full-range high-complexity tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, serology and blood bank, with emphasis on accurate specimen processing and reliable results.

Candidates must have an NAACLS/ABHES/AMT-acceptable MLT program, an associated degree in Laboratory Science, BLS, and ASCP/AMT certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NAACLS/ABHES accredited MLT program or AMT-acceptable program.
• Associate degree in Laboratory Science/MLT/MLS/MT or equivalent.
• Maintain BLS certification and active credentialing.
• Must hold ASCP or AMT certification and active registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-complexity clinical lab tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, histology, cytology, serology, urinalysis and blood bank.
• Ensure accurate specimen processing and timely testing.
• Communicate results clearly to physicians and other clinicians.
• Maintain instrument readiness and perform routine maintenance.
• Adhere to CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA and safety regulations; protect patient data.
