The Medical Laboratory Technician will perform high-complexity tests across multiple sections and ensure accurate specimen processing to support patient care. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, equipment maintenance, quality control, regulatory compliance (CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA), and effective communication with clinicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NAACLS/ABHES-accredited MLT program or AMT-acceptable program.
• Associate degree in Laboratory Science or related field.
• Maintain BLS and national certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-complexity lab tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, serology, and more.
• Ensure accurate specimen processing and timely testing.
• Perform phlebotomy services and obtain quality samples.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to minimize downtime.
• Uphold quality control and regulatory compliance (CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA).
• Communicate results effectively with clinicians and staff.
• Manage specimen transport preparation and data integrity.
• Support process improvements and inventory management.
